Chateau Barthelemy estate in Paray-Douaville region, south of Paris, France
Saskia & Gabriel decided to get married at this beautiful Château Barthélemy, just a short hour drive from Paris. Extremely scenic location with gorgeous roads leading up to it from the capital, surround by century old trees. Lucky for us, we had a beautiful warm end-of-the-summer day and we could really enjoy ourselves in this small region of France called Paray-Douaville. Excellent cheese, wine and appetisers, as it should be in France.
The whole day was carried out at the lovely Chateau estate that even includes a lake and some swans. It was a relatively small wedding with their closest friends and family, which always make it more personal and authentic. The gentlemen got prepared in the Chateau, whilst the ladies got to put on their makeup at the “Orangerie”, which is a separate, stand-alone room just next to the Chateau. The jewish wedding ceremony was done just behind the lake and was decorated by the amazing team from the Land of Dreams, as well as the reception venue next to the Chateau.
The wedding finished late in the night, with a simple typical brunch the following morning.

The decorations were quite astonishing. It actually took 3 vans full of flowers to decorate the different venues. The musicians were a pleasure to listen to, keeping us entertained throughout the whole wedding day.
