As a destination wedding photographer, my journey began with a flight from Slovenia to the picturesque city of Catania. Upon arrival, I met Devin and Christian at their hotel, where the anticipation in the air was palpable. I arranged for a talented makeup artist Tannaz to enhance Devin’s natural beauty, ensuring she felt radiant as we prepared for their intimate ceremony.

Having visited Sicily six months earlier for my own birthday celebration, I had fallen in love with its rich culture, warm people, and breathtaking vistas. This return trip was not just a professional assignment but a heartfelt reunion with a place that holds a special place in my heart.

The elopement was perfectly timed at the beginning of October, a month known for its sunny weather and pleasant temperatures, which made our plans even more exciting. We embarked on a captivating journey through Catania, where we explored historical landmarks and vibrant streets, capturing candid moments against the backdrop of the charming Sicilian architecture. From the majestic Castello Ursino to the lively Fish Market, each location added its own unique flavor to their story.

As we arrived in Taormina, the vibrant atmosphere and stunning vistas welcomed us. Nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Ionian Sea, this charming town is known for its captivating blend of ancient history and breathtaking natural beauty. With its narrow cobblestone streets lined with quaint boutiques, inviting cafes, and historic sites, Taormina offers the perfect setting for intimate moments and romantic escapades.
