A relaxed civil wedding by the Adriatic Sea, followed by a stroll through the charming streets of Piran.
Slovenia / Piran /Riva Restaurant
Ines & Markus
Some weddings don’t need an all-day timeline to feel meaningful. This intimate celebration in Piran focused on the moments that mattered most-family, close friends and a beautiful ceremony by the Adriatic Sea.
The day began in a nearby apartment where the bride got ready before walking to Riva Restaurant, overlooking the marina. Surrounded by their closest guests, the couple exchanged vows during a heartfelt civil ceremony led by celebrant Sonja Zach, whose warm and personal approach created a relaxed atmosphere from beginning to end.
A Seaside Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the terrace of Riva Restaurant, with views across the harbour and the historic waterfront of Piran. Lasting around 45 minutes, it felt intimate, personal and perfectly suited to the relaxed pace of the day.
Exploring the Streets of Piran
After congratulations and group photographs, everyone enjoyed a selection of starters while the newlyweds slipped away for a short portrait session.
Piran is one of my favourite places in Slovenia for couple portraits. The narrow Venetian streets, colourful facades, stone alleys and beautiful coastal light create countless opportunities for natural, timeless photographs without travelling far from the celebration.
Thank you for viewing this intimate wedding in Piran.
If you’re planning a wedding on the Slovenian coast, in Piran, Portorož or anywhere across Europe, I’d love to help capture your story in a natural and relaxed way.
