Trisha and Preenay flew from London, UK for holidays and decided to also take some pre-wedding photos. We decided to to the session on two locations on Gran Canaria. First we drove a bit north of Maspalomas to get to a nice viewpoint of the surrounding hills and then drove back down to Maspalomas where we got some ice-cream and took a stroll trough the sand dunes where we took some more photos as a Canary Islands Wedding Photographer.

As a Canary Islands wedding photographer, I am always excited to shoot in the beautiful and unique locations that the islands have to offer. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with a lovely couple for their pre-wedding shoot in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria.

The couple, who flew in from London, UK, wanted to capture some special moments before their big day. We started off at the Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada de las Yeguas, a stunning viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the island. The couple, who are Indian, decided to do the first part of the shoot in traditional Indian clothes, adding a cultural touch to the photos.

“Tomaž was amazing! We were looking for a pre wedding shoot in Gran Canaria. From the very start when jumping on call with us to chat through what he does, what locations we could have a shoot at, even to where we could stay during our trip there, he was fantastic with us! During the actual shoot, Tomaž was nothing else than perfect. He made us feel very comfortable (we’re not very used to being in front of the lens), and as we also wanted to try some poses ourselves, he executed these flawlessly. He knew a lot about Gran Canaria and the beautiful spots around the island and his effortless natural photography led to us being amazed with the photos he gave us (speedy delivery of only a week, wow!). The pictures taken really captured our authentic selves and we couldn’t recommend him enough!

The Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada de las Yeguas is a beautiful location that offers a unique backdrop for wedding photography. After the Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada de las Yeguas, we headed to the dunes in Maspalomas.
